NYI
NYI stands for Nazarene Youth International, which is a ministry that focuses on the youth of the church. The mission statement for NYI is: “to call our generation to a dynamic life in Christ.” The age for NYI is 12 years and older, college/university students, and young adults. NYI exists for youth to attract, equip, and empower young people to be of service in the kingdom of God . The focus of the NYI is to focus on Christ. NYI is built on the relational ministry to youth in the local church. Ministry to the young people in the local church is critical to the health of the NYI. This ministry is to guide young people toward spiritual maturity in Christ. NYI's mission is to develop and mentor young leaders, and also to empower them to lead. It is to embrace unity and diversity in Christ. It is also to create a network and partnerships at every level of NYI.
The NYI values are: Young People, Bible, Prayer, Church, Worship, Discipleship, Community, Ministry, and Witness.
